My work is rooted in presence, connection, and care - so your photos feel like you. Let me capture your love story.
If your wedding vision leans more storybook romance than ballroom formality, this is for you.
There’s something about a whimsical wedding venue that feels a little tucked away, magical, and completely intentional. Whether it’s overgrown gardens, historic architecture, or a space that feels like it belongs in another country entirely, these are the venues that naturally create a feeling, not just a backdrop.
If you’re planning a wedding in Texas and want something that feels romantic, unique, and a little bit unreal in the best way, these are some of my favorites.

If you’re picturing garden paths, soft light filtering through trees, and a space that feels like it was discovered rather than booked, this is it.
Hidden Gardens Venue leans fully into that cozy, romantic, slightly magical atmosphere. It invites you to slow down, be present, and just really feel your day instead of rushing through it. Everything about it encourages an outdoor celebration that feels intimate and personal.

This is where classic Texas meets something softer and more romantic.
Willow Woods Barn + Studio has that timeless barn feel, but the property itself is what really makes it stand out. The trees, the light, the pond, the way the sun sets here, it all adds this layer of quiet whimsy that you don’t always get with barn venues.
It’s also family-owned, and that energy carries into the entire experience. It feels cared for, not just managed.

Woodbine Mansion is one of those venues that immediately makes you feel something the second you arrive.
The architecture, the grounds, and the way everything feels both elevated and inviting is unmatched. It has this vintage, romantic kind of whimsy that’s hard to replicate. It’s refined and classy, yet unique. Honestly, if there was ever a place to lean fully into that timeless, editorial feel, this would be it (it’s also where I would get married if I were ever to get married again).

Julia Ideson Building proves that whimsical doesn’t have to mean outdoors only.
It’s a library, which already sets the tone, but then you walk inside and everything feels unique, romantic, and quiet in the best way. And the courtyard? It feels like you somehow ended up at an English estate without leaving Texas.
It’s one of those venues that gives you something completely different without trying too hard.

The Emerson feels like stepping into a world that was designed for slow, intentional moments.
Between the chapel and the house, everything leans intimate, dreamy, and effortlessly romantic. It’s the kind of place where nothing feels rushed, and that alone changes the entire energy of a wedding day (in the best way possible).
Choosing a whimsical venue like these changes more than just how your wedding looks, it changes how it feels.
These types of venues tend to create space for connection, for the quiet moments, for actually being present with your people. And those are the kinds of weddings that don’t just photograph beautifully, they stay with you – and they’re also my favorite to capture.
If you’re planning a wedding in Texas and are drawn to venues like these, you’re already leaning into something really special. And if you’re looking for a Texas wedding photographer who captures wedding days with love, intention, and connection in mind, I’m your girl.
