My work is rooted in presence, connection, and care - so your photos feel like you. Let me capture your love story.

A wedding day that flowed beautifully.
Perfect weather, a relaxed timeline, people who are genuinely excited to celebrate, and a couple that is madly in love. Tarin and Colton’s wedding at Avalon Legacy Ranch was exactly that kind of day.
If you’re searching for a Dallas wedding venue that leans rustic but still feels elevated and intentional, Avalon Legacy Ranch is one that absolutely deserves a spot on your list.

One of the things I loved most about Avalon Legacy Ranch is that it has all the charm couples want when they search for a rustic wedding venue in the DFW area, BUT it’s not a barn venue.
And I mean that in the best way.
There’s character, warmth, and natural beauty everywhere you look, but the space still feels polished and thoughtful. It’s rustic without feeling overly country, and elegant without feeling stiff. The whole property strikes this really nice balance that works beautifully for couples who want an outdoor wedding in DFW that still feels refined.
Tarin and Colton leaned right into that aesthetic. Their wedding design had this gorgeous rustic-meets-elegance vibe with natural textures, beautiful outdoor spaces, florals that elevated the space, and a relaxed atmosphere that made the entire day feel welcoming and easy.

Late March in North Texas can honestly be a bit of a wildcard weather-wise, but Tarin and Colton absolutely won the lottery with their wedding day.
Clear skies.
Comfortable temperatures.
Not too hot, not too cold.
Basically the dream.
Their ceremony took place outside on the property, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the ranch. There’s something about outdoor ceremonies that always feels a little more intimate, maybe it’s the open air, maybe it’s the natural light, but it just adds this sense of calm and intimacy that you can feel throughout the entire moment.
As a Dallas wedding photographer, these kinds of settings are a dream to photograph because the light, landscape, and atmosphere all work together so naturally.

One of my favorite parts of the day came right after the ceremony.
We hopped into a side-by-side and drove out to a quiet spot on the property near the water for Tarin and Colton’s bride and groom portraits. Getting away from the main area for a few minutes gave them a chance to breathe, laugh together, and soak in the fact that they had just gotten married.
These moments are often some of my favorite images from the day, not because they’re overly posed or dramatic, but because couples finally get a moment to just be together and let it hit them that they literally just got married.
And Avalon Legacy Ranch has plenty of beautiful little pockets around the property that make it perfect for this.

After portraits, we headed back up to the venue where the reception was already getting started.
And from there, it was a party.
The dance floor filled up quickly, and it stayed that way for most of the night. It’s always a good sign when you can tell the couple is surrounded by people who genuinely love celebrating with them and having so much fun.
Lots of laughter, lots of dancing, and the kind of joyful chaos that makes wedding receptions so much fun to photograph.

If you’re currently searching for Dallas wedding venues or rustic wedding venues in DFW, Avalon Legacy Ranch is definitely worth considering.
It offers:
• Gorgeous outdoor ceremony spaces
• Rustic charm with a more elevated feel
• Plenty of scenic spots for portraits across the property
• A relaxed atmosphere that makes the day feel easy and natural
For couples who want a rustic elegant wedding near Dallas, it’s a beautiful option that feels both warm and refined.
