Courtney & Vicente | February 21, 2025
There’s a certain kind of romance that only comes with a cloudy sky – soft light, slower breaths, a feeling like the whole world is holding still. Courtney & Vicente’s wedding day at Woodbine Mansion had that exact kind of beauty. The February air was crisp and cool, the sky wrapped in gray, and somehow it made the entire day feel even more intimate.
Woodbine Mansion is one of my favorite venues in the Austin area. From the white columns and black shutters to the historic detailing inside, it holds this timeless elegance without feeling stuffy. It’s spacious, but it still feels like a place meant for love to linger. If you’re dreaming of that classic-meets-romantic wedding day – you cannot go wrong here.

The original plan was to hold the ceremony outside on the lawn. But with the weather giving us a gloomy, misty afternoon, the ceremony moved indoors—and honestly? It was perfect.
The ballroom filled with warm light. Soft florals. Guests tucked in close.
It felt personal and full of emotion. The kind of ceremony where everyone actually gets to feel what’s happening.
Courtney & Vicente couldn’t stop smiling. They laughed, they whispered to each other, they held hands like they never wanted to let go. You could just feel how in love they are.

This wedding was a beautiful mix of elegance with just a hint of vintage flair. Not theme-y. Just thoughtful details that made the day feel like them.
Even with the cold weather, everything just glowed.
And this couple? They’re the kind of people who make photographing them effortless. They laugh easily. They melt into each other. They’re natural, unposed, and just very in love. The kind of love that’s fun to witness.

If you’re currently venue searching in the Austin area, Woodbine Mansion is a dream for couples who want that balance of history + romance. There are so many incredible photo spots – the gorgeous porch, the lawn of the mansion, and every single room inside. Even on a cloudy winter day, the grounds were stunning.
I would love to photograph more weddings here. (Seriously. If you’re getting married at Woodbine Mansion – hi, hello, I would love to meet you.)
The day ran beautifully thanks to an amazing vendor team:
If you’re planning your own wedding at Woodbine Mansion, I would love to document your day with the same love and care.
